Cancellation Policy

We aim to be fair, predictable, and human. Stays at Hillwood Manor are subject to the following cancellation terms — please read carefully when booking.

Free cancellation window

Cancel free of charge up to 30 days before check-in. You’ll receive a full refund of any deposit or pre-payment.

Partial refund window

Cancellations made between 30 and 7 days before check-in receive a 50% refund of any payment made.

Inside seven days

Cancellations within 7 days of check-inare non-refundable. We’ll do our best to re-book your dates and, if we manage to, will refund you accordingly.

Date amendments

Date changes are free if requested at least 14 days before check-in, subject to availability. Inside 14 days, we’ll work with you to find a workable solution.

How to cancel

Two paths, both work:

  1. Use the cancel link in the TidyCal confirmation email you received after the host approved your booking.
  2. Or email bookings@thehillwoodmanor.com with your booking reference (starts with HM-) and we’ll handle it.

Force majeure

If your stay is impacted by events outside your control — government-mandated travel restrictions, natural disasters, or similar — we will work with you in good faith to either refund, credit, or reschedule. Please reach out as early as possible so we can help.
